Overview
The Galapagos Islands are one of the biggest and most touristic and scientific attractions of Ecuador.
The islands - three big, six slightly smaller and 42 small, 1000 km offshore of Ecuador, were created by a volcano. The national park "Galapagos" includes 97% of the surface area of the Isles. The not included areas, named Santa Cruz, San Cristobal, Isabela and Floreana, are inhabited.
